Transforming Care with New Technology
The background
GPsupport supports a reputable aged care provider across their facilities in Victoria and New South Wales. The organisation is built on a philosophy of providing excellent care and amenities to residents as standard in all of their facilities, including premium accommodation and experiences, which all need to be backed by advanced systems and tailormade IT solutions.
The problem
With the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, the client faced the incredible challenge of upgrading its legacy IT systems and infrastructure to provide the best care possible to residents in new ways. Operating within aged care, extra precautions needed to be taken to ensure the residents were safe during this time, so outside visitation was extremely limited.
The solution
The provider opted for cutting-edge technology, so they could navigate Covid-19 with confidence across their nine facilities and head office. They chose a full enterprise Microsoft 365 solution to revolutionise their collaboration and communication abilities. The system would also future-proof their business from growing security threats in the industry, streamline their operations and standardise their care across sites.
GPsupport was aware of how critical this new system would be for providing new ways of care, so the team were able to efficiently strategise and implement this system across their network in record time. Importantly, this all had to be done 100% remotely. The GPsupport team were able to coordinate remote software setup and tech installation with local facilities managers – even being available over video calls for support. They also conducted national training sessions to ensure their client’s team felt confident utilising their new systems.
GPsupport was proud to unify the company’s IT operations into one world-class, highly secure platform during a challenging time for many businesses. GPsupport continues to provide them with full support, so they can deliver excellent healthcare outcomes and service to their patients and stakeholders.
